As title. It’s looking like I may have next weekend free. Not confirmed yet but likely.

I’d like to ride a social paced outing with a bivy or Bothy on Saturday.

Anyone around? Sheffield based but can travel. In fact, would rather travel a little way to ride somewhere new(ish)

If you're bored and fancy a ride in Salop, I could be enticed out for a night on Long Mynd. Already lined up for the 16th with MAM of this parish on Abdon Burf as well if you want to make a long weekend of it.

@Ian - there's a target if you fancy something non-local. Park up here...ride over Wenlock Edge and across Ape Dale...down to the Ragleth for chow 'n a jar or three...nice climb up to the usual haunt. Brekky at the Glider Club or down in town after a nice drop off the side of the hill. Blat around the hill or return on paved or mixed surface.

Or if you want a few more miles drive down to wolves ,and ride down to longmynd with myself ,it's mainly towpath sustrans paths and a bit of bridleway ,but please be warned my social pace is a bit slower a than Scott's and mike's

Originally I'd hoped to get up to the scottish spring thing but I woun't have wuite enough time to get there and back as well as ride!

Hey Scott ,do we have to book a table at the pub as it's a Saturday night for food or can we just tramp in, will need food this time and not just beer due to riding down ( plus it may help stop the very early morning ablutions)

Normally we just show up but chow finishes @ 21:00. I'll give 'em a yell and make sure it's all sound. There are other options in LS/CS as well.

grand i should be down between 7and 8 ,got a bit to do with the boy on the morning so will be leaving early afternoon, depends how many pubs i encounter on the way down

Cheers dude. Think the weekend plans are sorted now. Have been meaning to head that way and hang with Scott and mike for a while now.

But keen for trip out from Sheffield if you are interested. Mark and I ride most Monday’s from S7/11 area if that works. It’s a 10-15km ride ending at the Norfolk arms. Drop me a dm if you are interested

I should be in the boozer by 730/8 myself for dinner n ale, unfortunately as I have to get back early Dr's for work Sunday I'll be sleeping in the van on the car park of pub. So no riding just socialising
