Yorkshire Dales 200 route?
is the route available yet? anyone
Re: Yorkshire Dales 200 route?
YD300 is up first, details here http://riderscyclecentre.com/yorkshiredales300/
Last year I rang Stuart about the route to find out which OS maps I'd need and he pointed me towards the provisional (and as it turned out, final) route on gpsites. It'd be Worth giving him a bell

Is this a different Stuart that organises this event. I'm seriously considering it... any more info or write up from last years event?? Does this Stuart include lots of hike/bike and bogs
(for reference I dont mind hike/bike but bogs give me a chill of fear inside!!)

last year's route had a small amount of pushing, and my feet were pretty dry at the end. But the route does changes every year.
Info from last years event, & there's probably more to be found if you're a facebonk user: http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... 22#p128922

Re: Yorkshire Dales 200 route?
The YD300 route is basically fixed and the group start is at the end of June each year. The YD200 route changes each year, the first one was quite late in the year (October half term) but I think Stuart's settled on a weekend at the end of the summer holidays.
Here's the three editions so far:
2015 https://www.strava.com/activities/606557084 GPS ran out at the end.

Stu said he's taking this year's YD200 to Calderdale so it will be a completely different route.
