Yes, "member not found" is a problem I encounter at all sorts of inconvenient moments

I don't suppose anyone found a black specialised helmet at the community centre or in the car park, did they? Couldn't find it when I went for a ride last night. Had to pinch the wife's.
The helmet is old and due for the bin anyway, but I could do with having the exposure light mount.

No one's said anything and I certainly didn't leave anything behind on Sun evening ... but if it turns up I'll let you know.
May the bridges you burn light your way
Re: Cafe Racer GR are GO.
I read back (a bit late!) to see your note about the bits you'd found. Cheers anyway.
And thanks again for organising, great weekend!
We met a few people at the cafe, but me and Paul were in the staring-into-space-and-shoveling-cake zone - I think we both thought we'd be at the cafe "shortly" so didn't really eat much all day. We were sat with the bunch who were off for pints in Rhayader, and Dillan and his Dad.
Well done everyone!
I'll post some pics later.

Re: Cafe Racer GR are GO.
It was a great event once again, really pleased that Stu's anti-rain dance had worked. Probably the mildest weather ever for a BB event, including the WRT!
For his first outing I know my mate James enjoyed himself and was treated like an old mate by all the new faces (to him). I think a return visit for the WRT is on the cards.
I've put a few pics and some bloggage about our ride here: https://advntr.cc/bearbones-cafe-racer-ride-journal/

Some nice pictures there Ned, I saw beautiful things too but somehow my phone photography just never captures it.

Cheers Steve, Galaxy S4. Plus some light breathing on with Snapspeed - thanks johnclimber for that tip!
Re: Cafe Racer GR are GO.
My first BB event and a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
I had a few 'issue's that saw me only 28 miles in and involved in a fairly major bike strip and rebuild in the dark at some place beginning with Ll and ending in lios.
Once sorted a determined 34 miles, 3 pubs and 6 pints of hand glider saw me to a bothy, all be it full.
A reasonably straight forward route back got me home as a straggler.
I have a few thank you to roll out.
The 2 lads I rode with through Hafren, we yo yoed a bit but it was good to have friendly faces as I struggled with my bike. Shockingly your names escape me.
Mike aka Norway calling, a timely meeting saw us enjoy a vegan coffee and it was that slight reprieve that allowed me to engage my brain and make the decision to stop and sort the bike.
The 'bad lot' boys (Dee's term which made me smile) who actually seemed please to find me, bike in bits under the market building in Llansomethingorotherloes. Their relaxed approach fits well with my own.
In fact a heart felt thank you to everyone I met over the weekend, a friendly, generous bunch, wonderfully diverse and so much the better for it.
Lastly, Stu and Dee. I don't doubt there are times when holding this together wares a little thin but believe me, it is very much appreciated by myself and everyone I talk to.

Nah, as we dragged, pulled and kicked our bikes through the tussocks I wished I had my light carbon roadie to carry instead!Matt wrote:Cheers Stu & Dee & in fact everybody... good craic all round.
