Spamtastic maybe but go on then, good a subject as any, I'll bite.
'Flaneur'
As per my sig, anyone can do 'big travel' these days and it takes more gumption (what a word) to go in the 'other direction', ie smaller scale. You could get as much cultural enlightenment chatting to someone in the pub in Barrow-in-Furness for ten minutes than you could on a two-week 'travel experience' in Thailand.
Anyway, 'flaneur'. Loafer, boulevardier, idler, moocher. Oh, that's five.
All of them entirely applicable to bikepacking in my favourite form of the pastime.
Now where's my tortoise on a leash gone....
