Welsh C2C in a Day

Post by ZeroDarkBivi »

Interesting video on Bike radar - Conway to Port Talbot in 28 1/2 hours:

http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/gear/artic ... day-51008/

Not entirely clear what route they took between the Trail Centres, or how it compares with other ITT C2C routes, but a great effort to cover that distance so quickly.

The route is available at the link below, in exchange for money!

So £44 pounds a year instead.... paying for the route is cheaper.

Edit: Constructive statement - looks like a nice variation on the Sarn Helen, which is also, a nice route. Mostly.

There's an add on for stripping the gpx out of strava without being a premium member. Only works on pc's, I'm on my phone so can't look it up but I originally found it by googleing. It adds a bookmark called something like gpx me?

Edit. I think this where I got it from

a) You can see where they went for free  (And re-plot the route if you're so inclined...)

b) There are "ways and means" of lifting a gpx file from Strava without being a subscriber (I'm not FWIW).

You can get any route off Strava anyway without subscribing - click on the spanner on the left (the one where you flag rides) and you can "Create Route". You can then dl the gpx.
