Just prepped this lot as part of a upcoming blog post.

The backlog of images I've not looked at yet is now getting embarrassingly big

More film again, FP4+. Quite odd in it's use, going to take some practice as a lot of shots are blown out.

Something that's "blown out" is where the highlights are over-exposed so you don't have any detail left, aka the highlights are pure white.voodoo_simon wrote:What do you mean by 'blown out'?GregMay wrote:More film again, FP4+. The shot that comment came with, isn't blown out. This one, is. But intentionally.voodoo_simon wrote:What do you mean by 'blown out'?GregMay wrote:More film again, FP4+. Quite odd in it's use, going to take some practice as a lot of shots are blown out

Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you lik
I spent the last morning of my recent holiday wandering around Paris of a Sunday morning, on the way back from Slovenia. Possibly induced by a fresh croissant and double espresso from the boulangerie, I found myself doing some "street" photography - not something I've really done before! (And possibly a bit naughty given France's strict privacy laws).

The above is actually a crop to remove the slightly distracting bag on the left of the frame. I'd value any opinions on this versus the original: https://flic.kr/p/Z8iJyN.

Me neither actually. Neither does the link to the embedded image actually. Possibly a problem with Flickr resolving the short code. Try this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/136120472 ... ateposted/
Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you lik

Been out today with my new lenses and a tilt/shift adapter. Old manual glass is pretty underrated these days (despite a bit of a "legacy" glass movement) but for landscape shooting they work so well, and render colour in a much more natural way than a lot of modern digital lenses, which can be quite contrasty and (over)punchy, depending on your view/preferences. This shot with a Zuiko 24mm, stopped down to f11, 0.3 ndGrad and not much else. For the complete retro approach I even used my spot meter too!! Happy days

Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you lik
Gari, you're totally correct. I use legacy glass for most of my photography, I only use one autofocus lens regularly and that is the RX100. A7 has adapters for my Canon and M glass, other film cameras take that too. I pretty much use my Q in manual focus all the time. Old habits die hard, and now that I don't shoot bikes much for work I quite enjoy having the ability to slow down rather than play with a computer attached to my eye :)

New phone camera shots from today. Sorry there are a few of them.
These first 5 are as they come straight out of the OnePlus 5 #VeryImpressed

Slightly edited from the RAW photo

And one with a fair bit of editing on the laptop
