Hi folks, I'm new to these parts and looking to extend my biking into bikepacking.
The forums a great read, so thought I'd ask some advice.
I'm looking for a mid size trail hydration sack to use in conjunction with bike luggage, and I'm pretty taken by the Osprey Raptor 14.
Is this a sensible choice, or is there any others I should take a look at?
Thanks
Drew

Osprey packs are good. My talon has taken a lot of abuse and still works well.
Its also worth looking at the bladder you get as well. Personally I like Camelbak bladders, especially the bite values, so i use that if a need a big bag for anything else.

I like my Wingnut Hyper 2.5 ... always surprised by how much I can cram in it. I'm also partial to AlpKit Gourdons in winter ... keeps my butties from going soggy
No idea about Osprey sacks - sorry.

Re: Osprey raptor
I've have Osprey Talons, 22 and 33 and whilst I think they're very comfy for walking with I can't bear to use my 22 for riding with. The harness seems too high and rubs on my neck.
I use a Wingnut hyper 2.5 for normal day rides and Bikepacking, in the winter if I need a bigger bag I use a Wingnut Enduro.
I have no experience with a Raptor though.

Re: Osprey raptor
I've got an Osprey 'Talon 33' and love it!!!
By far the comfiest and most well thought out bag I've owned.
Having said that - I've no idea about the 'Raptor'???
