This is the view out my front door this morning ... we so seldom have weather like this, its a real nice change. I cant help mumbling about the sun's got his hat on....
I was going to delete this ^ thinking it had no place in a cheery thread but then I thought, no ... perhaps knowing that CM is having a bad day might be enough to cheer others up
Nothing too bad I hope Tim.
Home. Liquid therapy. Better.
Let my fury make others cheer more sweet by contrast
We're watching crap telly with a couple of beers and a chinese, and tomorrow we're off to the Peak district (Bakewell) for a decent walk and pub lunch, then stopover in the van, walk, then I think I can ride home. Weather permitting it should be a perfect weekend.
Just was in the beautiful town of Solothurn and visited one of Switzerland's bigger bike exhibitions.
I'm going to get myself a long and fast 29er with some 150 mm rear suss soon. Tested some hot hot candidates on a fun little DH section.
Met good people behind little brands like Stoll and Bold.

Well, I had a furniture removal Tuesday, back down the road Wednesday am for 2.5 days cleaning of old house for hand back and won't get 'home' until tomorrow evening (and there's a whole load of unpacking still to be done...
If it's still nice out on Sunday I'm breaking out the Sherpa for a couple of hours riding. And then I guess I better make sure I'm ready for starting my new job on Monday.
Cheery Friday my arse...
ETA: drinking wine from a tumbler, man I'm so classy....
Another cheery Friday here, sitting having a pint on the way home from work, BYOB burger night at a local cafe with friends tonight and then hopefully tick another bothy off the list tomorrow night
Another trip to Cramond island for me. Not on the bike but walking over the causeway with Craig, a friend's 7 year old son and his first wild camp. Lucy my stepdaughters black Labrador is also coming along, .
