A superbly made windshield/pot holder from http://www.storminstovesystems.co.uk/ It's like a caldera but comes in two parts so it stows nicely in your pot. Comes with a small top burner which looks pretty useless but managed to boil 750ml of water in about 7 minutes.

I've got the same. The sheild appears to be efficient. I tried the storminburner against a trail designs burner in a basic water boil test and I found the stormingburner boiled quicker and also had a longer burn time than the trail designs stove.
Just looking at the stove, I really did not think this would be the case.

Postie has been kept busy here...lots of little bits 'n bobs...1" gorilla tape, rubber cement and a bulk set of patches + skabs to replenish my aging patch kit, zefal tubeless valves which work a charm coupled with the gorilla tape on my narrow rims...and a 24-pack of AA Energizer Ultra Lithiums to keep the Etrex fed throughout the summer.

Absolutely. Ive still got the the Afterburner and the BB22G stoves. Have you got something else in mind? The 22G stove burns really hot - I actually wonder whether it would be too hot for the cone which traps every skerrick of heat.

Yes, I'll give you a shout after the weekend. I imagine the cone would starve a 22g of air, it might also produce an air gap between stove and pot base which wouldn't be good.

New Alpkit Camino Titanium with SRAM force groupset, titanium seat-post, 10-42 cassette, 650b wheels and son Dynamo hub which Alpkit fitted for me.

Came with a 40t chain ring/spider which I removed and instead put a direct mount smaller absolute black chainring to make the bike better for the hills when fully loaded. I found this a good solution to get a smaller chainring on.

Replacement tyre (Conti Race King) after the last one blew on the Spain C2C.
The bead came detatched (unraveled) and fortunately the supplier agreed it was a manufacturing fault so it was under warranty.
Still grateful for the '5th emergency' service that mobilised and came to bail me out 20 miles from nowhere.
