I may be up for doing this route again only doing it clockwise.

I'm easy if I give the missus enough notice. End of April, beginning of May should be fine I reckon. Potential maybe to extend to a long weekend??
I’ve been abart a bit
Re: Loch Etive and Glen Kinglass.
So is this going to be put up on "Anyone playing out"?
Re: Loch Etive and Glen Kinglass.
Post it and they will come.
BELIEVE
End of April is probably the wife's preferred option.

Naw, let's be awkward and keep it hereRay Young wrote:So is this going to be put up on "Anyone playing out"?

Let's say the last weekend in April then (26th - 28th)????

Re: Loch Etive and Glen Kinglass.
Wife says yes to that weekend but I'll have to check with the outlaws as they'll be the ones babysitting.
I wouldn't have thought it'll be a problem.
My only obligation is seeing my son in Carlisle after school on the Friday then I'm free until Monday afternoon/evening.

Re: Loch Etive and Glen Kinglass.
When I planned this route I also plotted a figure of eight route that I now know could be done in 2 days if your interested.
Re: Loch Etive and Glen Kinglass.
Is Loch Etive/Glen Kinglass not a 2 day route????
Re: Loch Etive and Glen Kinglass.
Yes it is a 2 day route, Gari and I finished it mid afternoon second day. It was dry and sunny when we did it . If it's wet there will be a lot of streams to cross that where dry when we where there. The figure of eight route adds about 20/25 miles. Starting at Taynuilt the fig 8 on day 1 does an anti clockwise circuit of Loch Etive with 50/50 road/off road. Day 2 would be mostly off road with the descent into and along Glen Kinglass in the afternoon.
Re: Loch Etive and Glen Kinglass.
Revise that extra mileage, be more like 15 miles extra if starting at Taynuilt as you miss out some at Bridge of Orchy.
