I've not used them, but have have had a good look at some. I really like the oval shape, seems like they'll keep out of your knees way better. possibly a little smaller than the alpkit or revelate equivalent though?

Yeah, just having a play raiding my work desk for stuff to load them with . I don't think you'd get a 650ml mug in there. Not seen a Revelate to compare. The closure system appears to work OK.

Fresh Wooleators, Ortlieb 4L waist pack to replace my dying Batpack6, RAB silk bag liner (I've wanted one of these for too long), fresh Ti pegs (some spare, but 2 for the existing set for head/foot tieouts), C2C bag and some chow from BC Food. Good haul.

ok so was about £145 whitch is verry reasonable for an 860fp quilt. should have taken 2 weeks but scotty tripped over a cable and damaged one , so took about 3 and a bit weeks in the end.

Hope you enjoy the TT tarp 'stone. Obtained same one a while ago - went for 9 x 7. It's crazy light isn't it? But quite different to pitch compared to nylon as I'm sure you know! In V or cave shapes I use couple of extra lines (whilst hoping I'm not negating the cuben weight saving ) compared to nylon to get everything twangy tight.

This one's 8x5 which will be big enough for me. Had extra lifters added similar to the Alpkit tarps (carefully avoiding swear filter here ), also had a couple of internal attachment points added, partly to attach a lifter from the bivy bag to keep that off my face and partly for an idea I have that may or may not work.

Not had a cuben fibre tarp before so there'll need to be some testing in the garden before I use it in anger.

Yeah, cuben's cetainly different to sil' when it comes to pitching due to it have no 'natural give' but a bit of practice soon sorts it out.

Great minds - yes I had more lifters too. 9 x 7 is a bit OTT but I need space for the woodburning stove and cocktail cabinet y'see.

I've a hmg dyneema tarp 8'6" x 8'6" and took a few attempts at taught pitch after the siltarp but all good now and so versatile. You'll love the fact you can shake the water off it and pack it virtuality dry.

Damned signed for parcels...makes my WRT a lite one this year...but the haul continues...

DHB arm/knee UV shades, Humvee Lite shorts with liner, Muc Off HD chain lube (might just be a convert on this stuff from Dumonde Tech) and some fresh Giro mitts to replace my dying pair...too much ventilation is a thing, ya know. Looking forward to getting it all grubby this evening/tomorrow and in the dust in España.
