Which light weight waterproof trousers

Post by MM-on-POINT »

Hi every one, I hope those that went to the BB200 this enjoyed them selfs.
Now back to business!

I have just invested in the rab demand smock and I am absolutely in love with it, I now would like some w/p trousers of a similar quality, lightweight, packable, as breathable as possible and 100% waterproof

I currently use altura attack x trousers and they are great but they are best worn when you leave the house and its already raining, they definetly don't pack down small.
I have already looked at sprayways rain pants as all day wear and montane feather lights as packable water proofs but I still need more options.
So What have you got and found works or could recommend ?

Thanks
Matt

Montane Atomic DT (200g ish) or Montane Minimus (125g ish) would be my first port of call. I think the Featherlite pants are more water resistant than waterproof, all the Montane Featherlite tops I've used have been.
