However it's been nicked!

No book, but some nice stickers from some bloke in a shed (cheers Stu).
Also, early in the week, a Shimano 3W dynohub and a Cycle2Charge V2 (spending the money Santa brought me). Just need a rim and some spokes now. And nipples. And tape. And probably something else I've forgotten.

croix der fer 30 bit weighty but wanted 1 for years,
it's not that I can and others can't, it's that I will and others won't.

Velo Orange Casey's Crazy Bars for the ti build. Nice.
Just ordered a shiny VO stem and some shiny alloy headset spacers to really tart the look up.

Some superstar wheels to replace my crashed front one (can't have a mismatched set), they're a bit heavy and very blue

Topeak Joe Blow Booster
Proper track pump with chamber for tubeless
Was managing fine for tubeless with my budget track pump but was struggling with my most recent inflation and wouldn't go up at all (despite this tyre and wheel working previously?!). Got annoyed and treated myself to my first ever proper track pump

Been away from home for two weeks, and bumper crop of stuff for me when I got back:
Two copies of the Joining the Dots book
An rather exclusive proper high quality limited edition photo print (number 1 of 10) of Lee Craigie cresting the summit of the Beach Horn - haven't have a picture of a female other than my wife on my wall since I was a teenager
A pair of those slightly bouncy carbon forks that Greg doesn't like. Objective review coming to a blog near you soon
Two nice Espresso cups - I'll quickly add I don't own any Crikey, how much kit so I think I'm OK
A book on Calligraphy to reignite an old hobby

I nice shiny Fat Hugger for the front of the Vir Fortis. So it will now be hot and sunny for months on end.

Re: The post man's been ...
A black and aqua Cotic SolarisMAX in large (B+) flavour.
Intention is that it'll be my main/go to b/p bike and I need to put some serious miles in on it this year.
Assembled and the bits and pieces I've had kicking about for a while in anticipation fitted, not had the chance to take it for a spin yet though....
Hopefully get some proper photos tomorrow in the daylight.

Give the dirt a little room.
Re: The post man's been ...
Full face Fox Carbon Pro helmet... which is apparently too big for me. Who knew that I had a small head? :(
Annoyingly the small size isn't in the sale so it's going to cost me £80 more.

Re: The post man's been ...
Ha, just for DH duties mostly. I'd look somewhat of a pillock rocking up to the WRT like that.

Re: The post man's been ...
Another swift delivery from decathlon:
A light running hooded...um...hoodie, now the only fleece type mid layer i own after donating my poorly fitting fleece jackets i never wore. Should be good for running, hiking, biking and still look reasonably casual.
Some trail running gaiters for keeping crap out my shoes, certainly a world away from my massive waterproof rambling ones.
And some trail running shorts with more pockets than you can shake a stick at. 6 pockets around the waist and very stable, should hold most of my "Diabetacrap" on my adventures.

Re: The post man's been ...
Well I am sure you have all been on the edge of your seats, wondering how I would find mats in time for our Portugal trip to replace the ones the numpty courier lost last week.....
Ta dah....

A big recommendation for http://www.actionoutdoors.co.uk/ who pulled out all the stops and replaced the old model mats I had paid for with brand new hot off the press new model ones (that will now cost nearly twice the price) without charging me any extra.

The yellow thing is the new style schnozzel pump in silnylon I think. It came with the mats but I don't like it one bit!
At first glance it looks to be smaller and lighter than the old style pump but I weighed them both and the new one is actually slightly heavier at 61g vs 45g. It also doesn't pack down a whole lot smaller, though I spose you could use it as a dry bag for other things and get dual use out of it, though I would be afraid of puncturing it in that case as it is very thin.

This is going to make me sound like a moany old person, but I wish they had just left the pump as it was. It only took a couple of minutes if that to inflate each mat with the old pump, whereas now you have to wag this bag about to fill it with air and then contort yourself to force the air into the mat.
