I will be doing the 100 miles, never ridden in the area before, so really looking forward to it. Aiming for at enjoy it style pace. Any sage advice and wisdom you would like to pass on?

I've donated but as it's the week before the HT550 I may give it a miss. Shame as it's a great event and route.

I'm on the same boat but as I'll probably get 2 weeks off starting from Jenn's ride weekend I'll have time to recover. And it's bloody good to ride there

Think there's a meet up on the Friday at the pub.

The start is on Saturday in Staveley (more than likely the Hawkshead Brewery)

A few folks who i've spoke to that are thinking of doing the 200 are planning to start between 4-6am on Sat morn..

The ride off time for the 100 I later though..

I think Rich has stated Saturday 0900 or 0930 start for the 100 mile ride.

Interesting, had no idea that the official start time was on the Saturday. I thought it was on the Friday for some reason.

I'd put it on the calendar as fri/sat/sun as the pre event beers in the pub and sleeping in the nearby field/under a bush on the friday night are all part of the fun
