Pretty sure the training is more important than what tyres you're running over 6 months out.

You seemed in reasonably good nick for the BB200. Been eating too many of those pork pies since?

I like to think you've not yet unpacked from 2016. Why bother, it worked out ok.

Looking at the start list, I reckon the winner is going to have to go under 4 days this time, looks to me like there are half a dozen more than capable of a time like that. Dot watchers hold on to your hats !

Alan's only emailed the list to starters so far. I guess it'll be on the site soon.

Maurizio, the Italian is handy. He was third in the AZTR 750 this year in 8 days, 8 hours. I met him on the Navad in 2015. He does a lot of this sort of thing!

Just been chatting with Maurizio, he's from Sardegna (it's 15C there now).
Let's just hope for him that 2017 is more like 2016 conditions (3hrs rain, risk of sunburn) than 2015 (rained all week and didn't get above 9C)

There are some really strong riders entered next year, should be quite quick at the front. Alan's created a fantastic event!

Interesting trying to pick a winner from that lot, I reckon it could come down to a bunch sprint at the end!
