Are the extra damp proof strips worth it?

I found that the top strip got damp due to my breathe and my feet overhung the mat a couple of times so the bottom of the bag got a touch damp.

So overall i'd say yes. When you think what the things cost I kinda reckon just get it the best it can be, I expect to be using this for many years so just went for it.
