Dartmoor - 15th/16th September

I haven't ridden in Dartmoor for years so quite fancy a trip down there. I'm thinking the weekend of 15th/16th September. It's a 3 hour drive from mine so I reckon I'll probably drive down on the Friday (14th) afternoon or evening & either kip in the van that night or just ride a short way & bivy up to allow a decent day's riding on the Saturday. I'll be driving down the M5 from J11a & happy to pick one or two people up if it helps. Can also meet people somewhere on the Saturday morning on the trail if required. I've got a rough route planned but it's flexible if anyone else would like to join in. Cheers!

Not sure on transport yet, but might take the car all the way for added flexibility.

Sorry. I've been busy doing DIY tasks and the like most of the weekend. I'll check your route out ASAP

I did get out for a morning blast on the moor yesterday though. It could do with a bit of drying out between now and Sept 15th

I can't get away from work early on Friday now so a Saturday morning start is fine...whenever people can get there, no hurry if you don't want to get up at the crack of dawn. I may still drive down on the Friday night & kip in the van but will decide closer to the day.

I've got a route plotted in Tracklogs but it's flexible depending on how many miles people would like to cover. It loops about a bit so will be dead easy to chop bits off if necessary.

Mark - having trouble with this file - won't open in Route Buddy ( ), and more bizarrely, won't open in Tracklogs either? Have you got the straight .trl file?

Saturday AM suits me now, as I'm working down that way Monday/ Tuesday the following week.
