Swap: Brooks C17 Special for Brooks C17 or C17 Carved
I've got a Brooks C17 Special, which is a white saddle, that doesnt fit the rest of my build. It's pretty tatty but still functional of course. I'm looking for someone who has a black C17 I can swap with. C17 carved in black would be perfect but not a necessity. Can include some cash aswell if neces...

London -> Bristol (Unpaved)
For a couple years now I've been wanting to get into bikepacking and I've been putting together gear and a bike for a big trip from London to Croatia with a mate. I've not got my bike together yet but most of the gear I've got so I'm doing an "icebreaker" ride from London to Bristol, where...

Re: Wanted: small mtb or mtb frame (still looking)
Not sure if your on it already, but might be a shout to make a post in the Wanted +1998 category on Retrobike. Lots of people on there with lots of bikes! I was struggling to find any small (albeit retro) mtb frames for ages and there was a bunch FS on there when I first joined.

Re: The Bearbones freecycle thread?
https://imgur.com/gallery/aAScEl0 Anyone want these beauties. Well worn but still got plenty of life. The only way I'll part with em is if someone snatches em out my hand. I'm 32 to 34 waisted and these fit excellent. Zip is slightly sticky but probably just needs the pliers-job doing to it. Once s...

Re: 3D Printed Cage Mounts.
These clamp on to a fork and allow you to place a bottle cage, is that correct? Just wondering since I have a 3D printer and have been wondering about what I could print for my bike.

Re: WTD: Various touring/bikepacking gear
Hi and welcome to the forum. Agreed about ‘great community’, it is too. Top tube bags, I have 3 to choose from if any use (a R.apha waterproof that needs some 3M sticky pads to make it stick to top tube(about 1L); a Rockgiest Cache in 2L massive version (not waterproof as it’s not seam sealed but w...

WTD: Various touring/bikepacking gear
Hi everyone, First post on this forum! Looks like a great community from the reading I've done so far. :) This is essentially a crosspost from my post over on Retrobike. I’m planning a trip to Croatia from the UK and my leaving date is in 2 ish months. Planning on a mix of wild camping and occasiona...
