Re: Lakeland 200 starting point

I'm also looking to ride this soon I find space in the calendar in the coming months, some interesting points to take on board.

Valerio, rather you then me doing it on a dropped bar bike with no dropper post. I'm sure its doable though, but doubt it would be pretty  :-bd

Re: El Mariachi Replacement

Brother Cycles Big Bro steel framer, I absolutely love mine. Run it rigid and with 100mm Reba fork, super comfy short or long distances
Salsa Timberjack I like the look of too
Broken Road in steel would be nice, I have the Ti frame, but if the steel is as comfy It'll be a joy to ride :-bd

Re: Dales Divide anyone ?

Work and other commitments put this years DD to bed late last year, so no point entering this years. After the first attempt ending in failure at a measly 95k, cold, wet, wrong kit, ran out of enthusiasm to continue. Hopefully next year.

One of the 200 and 300 would have to be an ITT since they are held on the same day.
Maybe Stu could accommodate another weekend, or maybe we shouldn't give Stu any ideas as his are already crackers enough :-bd

Dafarn Nywedd Village Stores

Not sure if this has been posted up on just thought I'd give it a share as they've always been very good with us on WRT events and while passing through on rides, pretty sure most Bearboners have used it over the years

Also thinking of the 300 if the stars align, Question - If jumping onto the 200 from the 300 if things don't go to plan can you still aim for a badge doing the 200 ?

Avid fan of Stan's over many years still does a good job, but recently seen a deal on the new Pirelli stuff in Tweeks Cycles Wrexham for £16 for a pint so thought I'd give it a go. some reviews say it stains wheels and frames but I'm guessing that's if your a messy bugger and you get it everywhere. ...

Anyway a quick spin up road to the wellie shed of a local school, good enough to get the job done even if I was surrounded by smelly kids wellies and a chance to try the new kip bag out. Does anyone use any other apps to help them out on the tile collecting or do you just use a desktop/laptop, gutted the apps gone down as it...
