I've not heard of that before but will now try to remember and do it thanks.ScotRoutes wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 3:43 pm I'm sure most/all of you will know this but running a tissue paper around the inside of a tyre will often highlight any thorns etc. - you'll pull a little thread of tissue paper on each one.

Re: 141 QR Boost Dropouts - Sonder Frontier
Very happy Frontier owner here, but sorry as I can't advise on your question.
However, I thought I heard a rumor somewhere that there is a new version of the frame coming. I'd recommend contacting Alpkit to sound them out.

Re: Wanted: Wildcat Ocelot framebag medium
They were £45 in the recent sale, although I realise that was a clear out. Is £45 plus some postage reasonable? Thanks.

Re: Wanted: Wildcat Ocelot framebag medium
Ooh, exciting.
Can you store 2.7 litres of liquid in it? Or, and this is probably an easier way to work it out, is it 460mm long?
Small - 410mm
Medium - 460mm
Large - 500mm

Wanted: Wildcat Ocelot framebag medium
Hi folks. Having changed my bike my old Wildcat Ocelot framebag isn't a great fit. Hoping someone out there might have one in medium. Thanks.

Seen near Redruth, Cornwall
Hi. Bikepacking mate spotted another bikepacker near Redruth in Cornwall and we wondered whether it was anyone from here.
Spotted riding a Sonder Frontier with mostly soft luggage and a couple of panniers on the back.

Re: Bivvy a Month 2017.
With Alan’s gammy leg we can’t currrently cycle far or do anything too technical. We’d already scouted out locations near to home and had found an ideal spot in Degibna Woods on the edge of Loe Pool towards the southern end of Cornwall. Alan was taking his rigid bike, so I had to do the same otherwi...

Re: Tarp advice
Thanks for your suggestions guys. I was slightly leaning towards the bicycle 3.5 due to the tie-outs and due to some of the comments now have one.
It won't be used with tomorrows bivi trip, but it will certainly be used next month.

Excellent idea Ian, although I would say this as I was thinking the same thing 2 hours before you posted! Weird coincidence!
I like the idea of being able to look around a map and get an idea of where the routes are that I keep hearing about.

Re: good mudguards for a 3''+ tyre
I'd also give the Mudhugger guards a big thumbs up. You can use a heatgun to reshape the guards if needed. Once fitted they are solid.
They're excellent for bikepacking as they sit so low and leave loads of space for luggage on the seat post.

Hi. I can offer asking price on the Silwing if Will decides not to go ahead.
Might be interested in the Lioness as well to go with the tarp.
Cheers,
Roo.
