Excellent idea Ian, although I would say this as I was thinking the same thing 2 hours before you posted! Weird coincidence!

I like the idea of being able to look around a map and get an idea of where the routes are that I keep hearing about.

I'd also give the Mudhugger guards a big thumbs up. You can use a heatgun to reshape the guards if needed. Once fitted they are solid.

They're excellent for bikepacking as they sit so low and leave loads of space for luggage on the seat post.
