I think it might have been the trailer that contributed significantly to the weight of that one, that and the fact that once you've got a trailer, you may as well put stuff in it.

My bike alone is heavier than the first 4 bikes on the list, I can't see me getting down that low any time soon.

I'd agree with the above, it's a summer bag, and it's not summer out there - the review suggests that it's cold for what it is on top of that. You really need to know for yourself if you sleep hot or cold - a good rule of thumb is if you sleep better in winter or summer, do you need to have the wind...
