tips that worked for me: 1. fit the tyre with a tube for 24 hours, its beds the bead into the rim. 2. use shitloads of soapy water sprayed onto the tyre wall 3. make sure the rim tape is pushed properly under the rim. Yeah i looked at both those options, the sole pattern didnt inspire confidence. How do you find them for muddy/slippery pushes?

battery packs vary a lot, even within the same batch. best answer is to just burn test it at home while you're doing something else

anyone bikepacking on a bouncy bike?
....I've moved to the darkside, with a 2nd hand santa cruz superlight.
On the plus side, its great for old bones (spines, actually)....but I was wondering if anyone was using something of that ilk and if so what the experience was like and what you'd had to change....

I've discovered the worst thing about MYOG. You sit down over a cuppa, scribble out a 'clever' idea.... then go to look up materials and see someones beaten you to the punch (looking at you, roy!). Oh well, if ya cant beat em... etc
