FS: Kona Caldera Hardtail with Alpkit Framebag (18 Inch)
Hi BBBP, For sale is my Kona Caldera hard tail. It's in good mechanical condition however as you can see on the photos the paint is Pretty tatty. It's been upgraded by me since I got it and the sale includes a custom Alpkit Framebag that I've used for bikepacking across Scotland. Lately I've been co...

Re: Fishing
Thanks all for the replies. I had clocked the penpole on amazon (bit flimsy but nice and small) but hadn't come across HUX's suggestion which looks great! I think I might pick one up - can you give me some idea of how long it is when its all broken down? Looks like I'll need to pick up some lures an...

Fishing
Hey,
I'm about to start a two week highland bikepacking trip and would like to take a fishing rod - does anyone have any recommendations on a good, light weight, compact/collapsable fishing rod that they've used while bikepacking before?

Re: South East Bivvy in March?
Yeah
It's all one off sunk cost now and needed upgrading anyway. Unforunately the WRT crashes with a big summer ride I'm planning so I'm going to have to skip this year - it looks vaguely exciting!

Re: South East Bivvy in March?
Hey I'm waiting on an alpkit frame bag to arrive. I'd be really interested in what you think of the wildcat seatbag as I was going to scour the reviews online and purchase on Monday. Having persuaded myself that bikepacking is a fairly cheap hobby I've magically spent loads and its all this forums f...

Hey,
I'm Fulham based and interested in all thats been mentioned - particularly the off-rad London-Brighton route!
I'm fairly new to bikepacking however, still waiting for a lot of the new kit I've bought to arrive!

Scotland Summer C2C2C - Route Advice
Hi guys, After reading Chew's adventure and also 13thfloormonk's legendary trip on STW I've decided to put the two weeks vacation I have in May to good use by attempting my own Scotland epic. I've just finished the initial route planning stage and, as I've never ridden the majority of these trails I...
