Actually I’m just about to list my Camino if they are still looking. It’s a small/52, a bit of a mongrel though, I built it up from a frame set.
I can send some pictures over if needed, just send me the email address.

Re: Prescription riding glasses
I tried all sorts of things a couple of years ago now. I tried some transitions glasses, which I discovered need to actually have the sun shining directly on them to change. This was a bit of an issue when wearing a cap, having my head down or my back to the sun, which is basically all the time when ...

Re: bikepacking with a mirrorless camera ...what lenses do you take?
By “what lenses”, do you mean focal lengths or actual models? Fellow camera nerd so I’m asking in order to not go off down a rabbit hole that you weren’t looking for:) I usually take a 35mm and a 75 or 85mm, (full frame) but I do prefer primes. For me one of the greatest benefits of mirrorless camer...

UCI adopt Gravel?!
Just seen a post on IG from Lauf saying that the UCI are to get involved in gravel racing. It states that they(UCI) shares riders passion for freedom of riding, experiencing and racing gravel. Something of an oxymoron no?! I don’t, or have ever raced, but reading various comments over the years I ge...

Re: What not-gravel 650B tyres...?
I really like my Thunder Burts on my camino, pretty quick rolling on tarmac etc(especially as they're now quite worn!) but plenty grippy for most gravel/hardpacked estate tracks. would be fine in mud too when new and not so worn out. 27.5/2.1.

They do a triple as well. I have a double on my commuter and it’s been great tbh. I’m not particularly slender and I don’t notice any flexing:)

Re: The post man's been ...
With a Duro Crux 27.5x 3.25 from Unicycle after a bit of advice from Phil ( htrider ) it's huge ! Be interested to know what rim and what size it’s come up at, if you’ve got round to fitting it? I’m after something around 3.5 for my plus, in an attempt to save me getting a fat bike and having to bu...

Re: SRAM supply issues
I finally managed to get a rear mech for my new build, having been slowly collecting stuff for over a year now!!
It’s due for arrival today. Fortunately it’s just a few small bits that are fairly easily available left to get building (rotors/chain etc)

Re: Tachycardia - maybe?
I had a similar issue a few years ago, including feeling absolutely drained too. A ride/hike that would normally take 4-6hrs depending on conditions etc took about 12 hours, with numerous stops as I couple barely walk!!! No heavy breathing etc, just completely drained. After a few hours my HR was st...

Re: New Ortlieb bar pack
They’ve basically replaced their old cable fitting, which got mangled the first time you used it, and worse each subsequent use. But as it was for a release bracket for the bag was only an issue if you swapped it to another bike. But oddly made the bracket on the bag permanent and the “lash up” as S...

Re: Winter boots and gloves
A Nordic ski boot would be pretty good as a winter biking boot, I was looking at a pair of Salomon ADV8s for fat biking on flats. They are certainly going to be warm enough, but there are a couple of caveats. Though most of them look pretty water resistant they aren’t really designed to be waterproo...

Re: Wanted - Fork and Brake Calioer
I have a BB7mtn in my spares box if you want it?
Bit ratty looking but works fine, I will need to dig about for the bolts/spacers/cone things.
Stick some money in the bear feed fund, I’m happy to post it it out if you fancy it?!
