Just thought some people might like to see this ... am also certain some people don't.
I'm also expecting Ian to have worked out the route from this by dinner time.

I've got a lot on this morning, so it might have to wait until tonight. However, the bit at 75km looks like the Kerry Ridgeway

Well that can't be right... it appears that there are some flat sections in there.

Plenty of ups and downs... and I am just talking about my emotional state...
Currently experiencing excitement and dread in equal measure.

I imagined that if we were going to Englandshire we'd be on the Ridgeway at some point and i'm thinking of a similar route we did on the WRT a few years back.
No idea on the return though. Staying high up for the majority and only dropping down at the last 5k which i'm going to guess is a return back in from the north?

Roughly 26 climbs last year and about 18 this year, well thats a moral booster straight away! Oh and only 15'000 feet of climbing as well, bonus again. That means that they all must be stupidly steep gradients going through 3 foot tall bracken and yomping over tussocks the same height.

Three foot bracken, pfft... I'm out! It was at least 5ft-something last year! Had to follow Shona's swearing after losing visual contact...

Obviously I'm holding out for clear sunny sky's for this but some perverse side of me says It won't be the same if we have no rain or freezing cold temps through the night.

Forecast actually looks quite good at present ... although, anything can happen in the course of 7 days

Cold and bright would be my preference. Not sure whether to bivvy out or do it in a single stint....
Just fitted new forks, so the bikes ready, just the route now.......

if going through bracken are ticks likely to be a problem this time of year?

I don't think this years route involves any 90 foot high bracken forests but even if it did ... any ticks have gone.

I'm soo not even slightly prepared for this. Not sorted bike, not sure which car to use to get there (have a preference but dunno if I can sort it in time), not sorted out what I'm doing beforehand - waaaaah!
This is very different to 2013 where I was completely the opposite and totally prepared
Elevation profile looks do-able.
