I suppose this was always on the cards, although it happened a little sooner than I imagined. Only full bikes listed so far but I'm sure frames will be along some time.

They had one marked "prototype" at one of the bike expos. More of a surprise they took this long to get it to market.

chainstays aren't that short considering that's the whole pint of e-stays on this design?
Also, the chainstays vary in length by 100mm between small and large. Seems weird.

I remember Mike Kloser's Alpine Stars bike debuting that raised chainstay design at Aviemore 1989. The first time around ....

Them were days....Oval rings, e-stays, rigid bikes.... folks will be wearing fluoro coloured lycra any day now

Of the clones, I think the Workswell is the most interesting, given the two position rear end, the option of a front mech, and the BB options.

I've got ICAN forks on my Stache, because it was the first copy out, and I wanted some rigid carbon boost forks for last year's BB200. I don't think their clone is the ugliest

I shared a room with him in Alaska last year. He snores.
All of these variants - Trek, On-One, Shand etc - all look a bit 'meh' to me.

Tax? Wouldn't that imply that it's something imposed rather than an independent decision as to whether or not to spend the money?

got to be honest.........it is bloody horrible. i really dont understand the elevated on one side thing. and having the chainset hung on a stump makes the build pretty flexy....imho
i rode a trek stache, when stood riding out of the saddle, the flex caused the tyre to rub the frame each pedal stroke. and i wont mention the shand monstrosity.
not for me i am afraid.

ahah, you mean my own monstrosity. i was getting on fantastically with it. if you listen to Jeff talking about it, it does what he say's. and 29+ is a obvious benefit for really big blokes.
but i wont be on it for 10 or so weeks.
