So, good people. The hardest part of any trip is stepping out of the door isnt it? Today I have just opened a new savings account, only £50 a month, but should be enough for a decent trip to Africa, or wherever else takes my fancy, for my next 'significant ' birthday, a couple of years off.

Anyone else got a significant trip or dream to share? While we count the pennies and dream the dreams, as well as lots of little interim trips too.

Dreaming, always dreaming.

I graduated from uni two years ago, and saved as much as I could over the two years since. I left my job on June 23rd and have been galavanting about since enjoying some time off! Mainly, though, I cycled 4000km across Europe from Thessaloniki (Greece) back home including a few less visited countries like Kosovo and Macedonia. It's made for an vaguely exciting summer so far, but 5th of September is looming now and that means going back to work
