One of the mini presents I received at Christmas was a puncture repair kit. For whatever reason I only got round to looking at it today.

It is all neatly packaged up in a tin measuring 115x55x30mm. Was there ten years' supply of patches and glue inside? I opened it up. Ah!



Yes that red item is the marker crayon so you really can mark the spot. There are just six patches. Interestingly the "helpful" instructions make no mention of checking the inside of the tyre for whatever caused the puncture so you might well use several in one go.

I think you need a bigger crayon.
