Made a trip to the outdoor shop this afternoon, and pick up the new MSR camring cord tensioners and cyclone pegs. By far the best tensioning system I've ever used, better than cam cleats



These things hold better than the tensioners supplied on my high altitude tent which are very secure

The cyclone pegs, are about 20cm long, a spiral Y peg, initial impression in neighbours lawn, is very secure.

At last, a use for all those pieces of steerer tube off-cuts that I've been keeping for years "just in case" 8-)
