well my bach to bach was cut short for a few reasons, picked a bad route, was only averaging like 4mph, and after 8 hours was soo cold and wet i was never going to get warmed up again , at which point my light started p\lying up so o thought sod this and rode road back to the car ! but i got a few photos , the morning was actually really nice weather and biking but hay found lots of other wimps like me in the car park when i got back so thats ok i supose
the rain started at this point and continued till i sacked it off at 7 or 8 ish at night haha

at least you had a go pal, im sat here with my head hanging in same at how much tougher and hardier (AND younger) than me you are fair play to you and im giving you Extra points for the beard
It was me riding with you for the first bit there - it's my rather large bum in your first shot.
Yes, it was really warm up to just after midday then it went rather quickly downhill. I was frozen by the time I got to Rhayader, I couldn't even push with my thumb to change gear or unclip my helmet. Not good.
Last night was really bad weather but today was sunny if cool until about two pm when it started to go downhill again.

ye top half was copleatly dry! yey paramo veleze smock but legs hands feet etc were frozen , and soaked even in overshoes and seal skinz , pluss was making painfully slow progres etc etc but ye mainly just legs/ feet frozen
It was very cold and wet I was glad to find a sold hut I'd been told about. I was worrying that I hadn't found it and to set up in such conditions outside would have been horrid and quite risky being so cold & wet :( That's an adventure ticked! :-D
