Genesis Fortitude

Post by didnothingfatal »

I don't get it! On paper looks pretty much exactly what I want, and the complete bike price look good. Then I get to the small print, single speed has a threaded rear hub, so that means the rear cogs I have won't work. The race model, won't take a front mech.

Any other ideas on a low front end 29er, because that Genesis looks very similar to how a steel TD1 would be IMO.

When I look at the Genesis I think ... that's the same as my 29er Inbred but my Inbred's better because ....

1/ Much cheaper
2/ Can run SS or gears inc' 3 rings up front
3/ It's orange
4/ It's suspension corrected
5/ Has a very short head tube so you can keep the front nice and low
May the bridges you burn light your way

I had an original Inbred for years, and to be honest I keep looking at the 29 version. I like the idea of rigid, but another Salsa keeps grabbing my attention too.
