Hi
I'm needing local knowledge of an off road route form Hythe Ferry to ringwood. This is for a bike packing loop of 300+ miles. the only bit i need is from Hythe to ringwood, which i don't know. As I'm not form that neck of the woods. help would be handy. the rest I know. there will be a website for the bike packing challenge, which I'm working on now. so if the bike packing community can help with this last bit, that would be a huge help. As you can't beat local knowledge of the best trails. you can email me: darrenk 20 30 @ hot mail . com once I've got the Gpx file I can start biking it and getting all the information on the web page ready for the spring.
Thank
Darren :-bd

Let me have a look...it'll be approx. 30 miles of road & fire road.

The New Forest is draconian with off road cycling.
(There must be 'cheeky' stuff but I remember reading the amount they say they'll fine you and wouldn't risk it for 10% of a route)

Look at that map. I'd follow the NCN on road/off road through Brockenhurst and round towards Burley. I've used that and it's ok.

Then use the bit of allowed off road to bypass Burley. Maybe up to Linford and then across to Ringwood by road. Or across to Ringwood by road through Crow.

Where do you go from Ringwood?

North to Swindon?

I'll be interested to see the full route when it's done.
