Hebden Love

If anyone is interested in joining me for a reasonably long ride this coming Saturday - about 100km - around Hebden Bridge and it's surrounding areas - this is the place to sign up (??).

This is part of a linked route that I've been planning in my head that will spread to about 200km when it is done. It should be .... reasonably technical.... judge from this what you will.

Either way I'll be rolling out from the Co-Op at 8am if anyone cares to join me. If you're there most vaguely exciting.

What to expect:
- Probably close to 2,000m of climbing.
- Rocks, lots of rocks. really, lots of em. Mostly cobbles...of sorts.
- At least two villages with resupply points.
- A pub at the end.
- A reasonably sprightly pace.

Yep, the final plan of the loop should have close to the amount of climbing as the LL200. But more technical :)

Which way are you heading on Saturday and are you taking gears? Would like to pop over but also need to pack for an early flight on Sunday...

Need more hours in the day and less boring chores to finish!!

Not around this weekend Greg, otherwise I'd have been keen to get a ride in with you.

Be interested to hear about this new mythical route ;-)

Been playing around with a few ideas myself but it sounds like yours are much further toward coming to fruition.

Not fully decided yet man - will pop you a vague GPX later today. Also, fancy a brew later?

Looks good, recognise a fair bit of that and hopefully ok for the singlespeed...

Will check with L and have a think if I can get packed up and sorted on/before Friday. Suppose I can always bail out and scoot back on the train if I run out of time too...

Free-er for coffee tomorrow if you're around.

Not sure if I'll drive up the night before and stay in the van or have an early start.

Not going to lie. It's been raining.

Riding some of the loop tomorrow as part of my commute home, will see how muddy we're going to get :)
