SPD Shoe recommendation? *Womens*

Right, after trying clipless shoes myself and seeing a huge improvement, my partner wants to give them a go, mostly for XC and trail riding (with the occasional downhill) any recommendations for a good women's bike shoe?

She currently has her eye on Northwave Katana's, but likes alot of Shimano as well. Any others to check out? Our LBS doesn't have much instore to try but they can order in anything from their website.

Oh, and a side note: Any ideas on decent baggy shorts? She struggles to get a decent fit, I'm sure the girls on her will understand more than me

Doesn't your good lady take enough tumbles without adding the additional issue of clipless?

What shoe size is she? I have two pairs of size 41 going free (you pay postage).

She is far less clumsy than me still eheh
Cant blame a girl for wanting nice shoes though, we're still in the unsure stage between clipped or getting better flats, but its nice to know your options.
I plan to get her a nice pedal and shoe combo for Christmas.
Anyone here use crankbro's pedal/cleats like the Mallet? Seems more her style although I think SPD might still be the best bet

And she's a tiny 37/38 sadly (I think, need her to try on to know her EU size) but thankyou for the offer
