I find myself with two days holidays left before we switch to 2016 allowance. I've decided that a nice 5 day break in the Lakes to do some riding and running with the Wife is in order. But she must work Thursday and Friday - oh how I've pointed and laughed - oh how I will pay for this in the future.

So, I find myself heading to the Lakes with nothing planned but to ride/carry up some things, then down some even steeper things. Planning to stay at the NT campsite in Langdale (booked and all) so...

If anyone fancies a Thursday ride around the Langdale area followed by beverages in the Old Dungeon Ghyll , or a Friday ride around the Howgills/Borrowdale area give me a shout. No real plans yet other than up, followed by down, then up, then along, then down. Or suchlike.

Weekend will mostly be fell running in prep for a 2 week trip to Chamonix in September. Yes, bringing bike too!

could do an evening ride either of those days after work, if you have been fell running all day and fancy a short one could meet in ambleside at like 6 and go round loughrig etc ?

Will get back to you about evening ride. Will depend what wife wants to do!
