Close friend of mine, Jack and his university house mate set off last week to cycle around the world. I was fortunate enough to join Jack on day one and part of day two when he cycled over to join up with his riding buddy, Chris, for their trip.

They are both currently in Northern France, probably eating croissants as I type

You can follow them at https://jblewi.wordpress.com/about/ and https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1414511605522993.

Good man. They'll certainly see him coming! : )

2 friends of friends stayed at ours on day 2 of their ~2 year RTW ride last week, on their way to the ferry. Makes you think ..

If I didn't have a daughter and a wife, I'd be joining him James. Jack is probably the only person I could do such a trip with on a bike

Yep, he certainly doesn't do subtle colours (he has a mountaineering back ground), hopefully he'll be fine stealth camping at the side of the road with his bright setup

After 370 days away, cycling to turkey, through India and Burma (Jack meet his family, his mum and grandad, out there to visit his great grandad's war graCE. It was the first time that Jack's grandad had met his dad), Jack is now home! From Burma he flew back to Turkey and then cycles back through Europe.

He's now £5000 poorer than a year ago but what a trip! If he writes a conclusion or reflective on the trip, I'll post it up
