Additional bottle cage mount

Rather than take over the "Newbie Hello!" thread I thought I'd start a new one.
For those frames where the bottle mounts are either in the wrong place or insufficient in number what do you use to provide a mounting point?
I've a Cotic Solaris and the bottle mounts are placed such that a bottle gets in the way of my frame bag (Wildcat Ocelot)

Plenty of ideas here ... although it doesn't list everything.

I've used these Decathlon ones before now and they've always worked fine.

I'd seen that Decathlon mount before, might be worth a punt or pound or two.

I found it worked very well on round section carbon forks, the rubber grips the carbon very well.

Whitestone, is this for actually holding a bottle? Or for something bulkier that uses the same fittings, Anything Cage / Gorilla Cage for example.

For an actual, genuine, real life water bottle.

There's some giant screw-tightened zip tie type bosses the elite make. I use those and have just ordered the mount skid more one to try on john climbers recommendation

If you can do seatpost mounted, there's the KCNC mounts that XC Racer stock
(here), or with the old Specialized Epics you could get a similar setup but with a replacement seat clamp as the lower mount. If your bike takes a 30.9 post, I've a set of those lurking around in the shed, I think...

Seatpost isn't really an option as there's a saddlebag hanging off the back of it

Depends how long a seat post you run...

If you're insufficient in number on the frame, they're just riv-nuts. If only doing a couple, you needn't bother with the proper tool (ghetto it with a bolt and a couple of nuts) and the rivnuts will cost pennies

I sometimes fit an additional bottle to the front of my seatpost ... saddlebag still fits fine and it doesn't interfere with my legs

I have a Solaris, large frame
This is an elite bottle cage mount being used to lower my bottle
From the Ford Fiesta earlier this year
I'm need to do some adjustments to get 2 cages to fit with a Revelate Tangle. I've a couple of mount skidmore brackets to help with that

Any idea of the largest tube you can get one of those around?
Might be the ideal/cheap solution for my bamboo frame without requiring glueing or drilling.

How do you use a DI2 adapter to create an additional water bottle mount?

Those KNC mounts look as if they'll avoid the post strap of the saddle bag. Whether the bottle mounted to the front of the seat post won't interfere with
my legs is another matter.

Not additional, but helps with the wrong place part of the original Q is all.

Thanks!
Although might be too small. At that price possibly worth a punt though.
