multi-day trip plan

Hi peeps,

After a bit of an enforced sabbatical I’ve done a couple of trips recently and got my “bivi-legs” back.

I fancy spreading my wings and doing a shortish multi-day trip that takes me away from The Clwyds, nothing too crazy when it comes to climbing, mileage or technical ability and can always include an element of gravel/country lane. Plenty of village stops would be nice so I’m not having to carry 2-3 days food with me.

Does anyone know any “official routes” that aren’t in the same magnitude of the Highland Trail etc.

cheers

Mary Townley Loop extending onto the PBW if more miles are needed?

Loop of Anglesey?

Northumberland beaches north then south again?

The Sanstone Way in Northumberland or maybe The Pennine Bridleway though that does have quite a bit of up and down.

Sorry for the HiJack, but a loop of Anglesey? I'm assuming this would be on a fat bike, and along the beaches?
I looked in to circumnavigating the island a while back but on a standard ht and it seemed there just weren't enough "connectable" bws and trails, which meant LOTS of tarmac.
My initial plan was train to Bangor, then over the bridge and SW to Newborough, then follow the coast to Holyhead via Rhosneigr, Rhos-colyn, Trearddur etc. Stop over around South stack -ish. Then the next day, NE up towards Cemaes and around the top coast aiming to finish somewhere between Point Lynas and Moelfre, then the next day around Beaumaris and along the Straits and back to Bangor.

TCW? Nice, steady ride over 2 or even 3 days. If you work it out right you'll find enough shops and things along the way.
