ooh that's an old thread I started on stw. Since then I've used a RAM mount, which was heavy and rubbish (broke two of them), then tried a second Garmin mount which has been perfect for 12+ months now. Aidan's latest blog post suggests he's also found the Garmin mounts to be of variable quality. If you find a good one, hang onto it!
