A great read as ever Dave and spot on with your revised rider classification. Get yourself round the Cairngorms loop one nice weekend and you'll see that biking in Scotland isn't all pain and hate!

I've done the classic Blair Atholl loop Phil and a lot of other Scottish riding. It's only the bits that Alan traces on maps that I don't like

Enjoyed that Dave, and spot on with the rider classifications.
Just a thought about knee pain, shorter cranks helped me. Have you thought about trying some?

Might be worth it Steve. I have always ridden 175s but have no idea why.
