I generally create my routes using Strava on my laptop computer.
I rarely use Garmin Connect as I find it much less usable.

However, when on tour this presents a problem.

a) I can't edit a route on garmin connect using my phone or tablet.
b) Only garmin connect routes can be sent to my garmin by bluetooth. I have had limited sucess connecting my garmin to muy table using usb and gave up carrying all the extra cables.

Anyway I have found a way to edit a route on strava and get it onto a garmin using bluetooth.
