Hi All,

I wanted to gauge opinion as to whether anyone here has a better option to the Sarn Helen trail ride that I was planning on doing (http://mbruk.co.uk/mbruk_SarnHelenTrail_details.htm)

I have read on a number of forums that the Sarn Helen ride is plagued with sections that have been destroyed by those pesky off road vehicles. I have read a forum post on here of some chaps who seemed to ride an alternative route.

So if anyone does have a better option, I would be most grateful if you could post me the gpx.
Planning on doing the route sometime in June (weather permitting) and taking 4 days / maybe 5 if anyone else potentially fancies joining me?

I'd suggest getting a copy of Ians N to S route ... some of the 'Sarn Helen' route is very difficult to navigate.

Some of it is great. Some of it is dross. Nav can be...entertaining on one section I know of.

It's worth a punt though, some quite nice bits that I recall.
