Also interested. Road biking but any wild camps near quiet roads would help.
Cheers

Potential 'wild camping' spots for the Iom;
L/r 95. 1:50 000
Sc 305 785
Sc 295 840
Sc 372 900
Sc 355 915
Sc 248 780
Sorry for the 'old school' Gr's,I don't do electronic mapping, although these
Are specific points,it's more of that 'general' area,I've stuck to areas that are
Accessible from the heritage trail or rupps/boats,most are quite close to
Minor roads too.

Just been looking at the I of M for a bivi trip (cheers for the grid references), but they don't run a ferry from Liverpool on Sundays
One of the few times child care and my days off coordinated too for an overnighter

Just checked as I was hoping to go out on a Sunday in September and they do sail to Liverpool on a Sunday? As a test I test booked a trip out next Sunday and back and was available on their website, where are you looking ?

Think it was aferry. The only sailing time I could find was 1900, which was not good. Wanted a Sunday morning ferry so I could come back Monday afternoon/evening

Have you looked on the steam packet website, that's the best place, not an agency ?

Cheers for the link, it was a lot more straight forward to use, but sadly, only offers the evening sailing time
Hopefully later on in the year, I'll be able to do a midweek trip to the Isle
