Some of you might have noticed that since last October the BB200 had become the BBRT before becoming the BB200 once again ... sorry for the confusion but hopefully this will help explain things a little
I'm planning my entire 40th birthday/biannual UK trip around doing (and bloody well finishing!) the BB200 again this year.
Stu, not sure if I'll be trying for my previously stated goal for the weekend or not but it's still 'on' at present (definitely not on a fatty).
If my year/'training' continues as well as it is going at present I might even fancy my chances at decent time (though I understand it's not a race and I'd be chuffed with anything under 28 hours).

Irrespective of whether you complete the entire route or not, your first job when you return is to sign off. Upon doing so, you will be given a food voucher in accordance with your status (previous riders will be familiar with these).
These food vouchers - are they circular, and perhaps available in different colours depending on when/whether you actually complete the challenge route?

Do we have to carry a foil blanket?
Or perhaps a headtorch?
Hopefully the fact that you'll be carrying a sleeping bag and packing 1000+ lumens means the above won't be called for.
As with any mass catered event its recommended to be back early so not to miss out. I suspect Ian will want to back 1st so he gets the 1st choice of sandwich.
I think I might get hungry after about 20 hours depending on the exact nature of the route, so that would probably be a good time to get back for my sandwich. Hopefully my choice of filling will not be too diminished by that point.
