Warm and cosy or wishful thinking and lightness - summer sleeping bag for wrt or not?

A winter bag is tempting

'Twas -2 the other morning and you won't have a 'cuddle monkey' to keep you warm

Was that the whole area or just bearbones towers?

Looking at the foecast there seems little chance of frost

For the sake of 500 grams and a bit of bulk the difference climbing into a super warm bag and one that's just warm enough.....

Have opted for comfort :)

With weigh in prowess at stake, I'm taking my lightest bag, which I will undoubtedly regret....

I'm bringing my "heavy" one I think.

The only "heavy" bag I have is my Buffalo 4 season. It is lovely and warm, but weighs a ton a does not pack small at all, so it's the lightweight bag again for me. Though I think I might nip down town at lunchtime and get a silk bag liner...

Buffalo bag will cope better with a 'wet' weekend though,I'm biased though
Because I use a Superbag for cold trips and a Lightweight Outer with their
Pertex Thermaliner for warmer,lighter trips
