Does anyone use the 3" Knard on their fat bike? Just pondering whether they might feel slightly less podgy when things are dry and dusty?

I'll be on my 29er version of the 3" on 45mm rims next weekend if you want a spin on them.

They are very fast tyres, they roll really well on tarmac and gravel roads, but they are awful in deep mud or for beach riding.

They do like picking up thorns quite often and they are baggy on the rims so running tubeless will be impossible on my set up.

But why on earth would you want to make a fat bike skinny?
It's a fat bike embrace the fat with Larry's or 4" Knards if you want a fast rolling bike on dry and dusty trails

Cheers John. I got a good feel for the 29+ Knards when I tested the Travers and ended up quite liking them.

Your right, I imagine I'm still trying to pacify my inner self ... the one who's always been a bit of a fat bike sceptic

Try jumbo jims, not dissimilar rolling resistance to chronicles and not much worse than knards when they are pumped up.
