Mountain Lion or Kanga?
I've got other Wildcat bits which are great, but any particular benefits of mountain lion over the alpkit kanga?
Re: Mountain Lion or Kanga?
Generally the Lion sits lower on the bars.
The top of your drybag will be level with the bars, whereas the bars when using a Kanga will be around the midpoint of the drybag, which can make mounting lights a bit more difficult.

Great feedback, thanks. Using jones loops so presume the lower wildcat position will be better?

What Chew said.

The Mountain Lion will fit Jones Loops no problem - this is what I use on my setup. You'll also be preserving the option to fit a Tom Cat bag within the loop too

Re: Mountain Lion or Kanga?
On my Fatty the Kanga just protrudes over the bars. On my Lurcher it's well above the bars. With 17/25 degree swept back bars on both I need a raiser on the fatty to fit my light and to mount it as fair to the right as I can on the Lurcher or it'd be totally hidden, the riser isn't enough. I don't think I'd want to be fitting it on Jones Loops unless the Kanga was the exact same length as the distance between the loop and the crown.
