I am about to enter the WRT and to date, other than being a good camper, I havent yet managed to get out for a night's play......

Anyone around the Mendip / Bristol / Somerset area planning anything soon?

I visit family in Somerset - Milverton near Taunton fairly regularly so perhaps next time I am in the area I will give you a shout.

Slight caveat - I've just returned from A and E with a probably torn meniscus / cartiledge problem following over exertion on the bike last night !

I enjoyed a night out on the quantocks in January however - seemed lots of nice places to bivy there if you are looking for somewhere as a dry run for the WRT.

Thanks Will, that sounds like a plan, I havent any real kit, some homemade / bodged together bits so, provided it's dry, I would be good for a dry (hahahaha) run

Need to get a bivi in when the weather clears up - not much to recommend in South Somerset, but Quantocks and Exmoor are good options. Need to finish my bike re-build first...

I'm Bristol based, need to get a night out in April.
Normally mid week 7pm-9am stuff
