I must be getting sensible.

I've always wanted/liked the idea of a RAB Ridge Raider hooped bivvy. I've seen today that The Outdoor Shop have them for just under 150 quid, which is about as cheap as they ever get.
I'VE NOT BOUGHT ONE! ... when I actually thought about it I came to the conclusion that I'd never use it. The often hidden, sensible/grown up side of me worked out it's merits and decided that:
1 / I'll still take a tarp if it looks like rain, so I've somewhere to sit/cook outside.
2 / My bivvy bag/tarp/groundsheet weighs less.
3 / My Force Ten Helium only weighs 100g more.
4 / My Go-lite Shangri-la 3 weighs the same and can sleep three.
5 / No matter how breathable it is, you'll still get some condensation.
I can't believe I was able to think of the above things and remove my finger from the add to cart button ... see, must be getting sensible
