Surely that's ok then, as we're in the UK and not the US of A!

Chew, Cumulus don't deliver to the UK*. You need to buy one from an EU supplier ... 250 you fancied wasn't it?

*This would appear to be because there's a UK Cumulus importer but sadly they don't stock quilts or the new range of bags, Magic 125, etc.

Chew,
I bought mine from:-
www.trekking-lite.com in Germany. They spoke English, took Paypal and delivered within a week. Would recommend both them and the quilts!

Got mine from a French site - high mobility gear. The man I emailed had good English.

After I ordered I got a mail from Jacek on info@cumulus.pl to say he would sell quilts to the uk as cumulus UK have decided not to import them.

Someone has some nice ultralight quilts on ebay. They seem good quality.

As a stockist of Criterion Sleeping bags (CUmulus new name) Ive been hounding them for a while to bring over the quilts, But sadly they are not keen. (sad face)

The last time I spoke with Cumulus direct they said "they can't sell to the UK YET!" so Hopefully soon

Are any of the cumulus owners side sleepers or move around a lot at night? I'm thinking of getting one instead of a new bag but I'm generally a side sleeper and also move around a lot at night and so I'm a bit concerned they might be a bit drafty in colder conditions.

cheers

Rob

I don't use cumulus quilts but have ones from UKHammocks and Enlightened Equipment (US).

I'm a side sleeper and don't have problems with drafts when moving about. Usually cinch the neck up and sleep in a base layer.

The Cumulus quilts aren't the widest available but even so, draughts aren't really much of a problem. If you were really concerned, strapping it to your mat should rule out the possibility.

I got a Cumulus and havent had a problem with the draft. Being in a good bivvy will cut loads out and you can always wear base layers as mentioned above.
I prefer them to bags now!

I ended up going for the cumulus down comforter 350 as I like the idea of being able to open the foot box up of needed - hopefully should be here any day now

Did Cumulus supply you directly or did you get it from somewhere else?

I got it from http://www.bivvyonsummit.de - they were only EU supplier I could find that had the M350 down quilt in stock. Its a bit of a shame as I wanted the hydrophobic down upgrade but this is only available from Cumulus direct. Despite my pleadings they wouldn't sell to me direct :(
